Delivery Information

Free Delivery for most of the UK!

Delivery is made by parcel carrier or pallet network depending on the option chosen at checkout, which itself is dependant on the quantity ordered. Deliveries are made on weekdays between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00 unless specifically stated otherwise. Please note that the delivery estimate does not take into account any lead times that may be applicable to our hand-made products. If there is, for example, a 2-3 day lead time on the product you have selected then this time will be in addition to the the delivery estimate. Please call or email us if you have any queries regarding your delivery estimate. All estimates refer to business days.

Once you have added the items to your cart you should find yourself within your cart, scroll down to the button which reads ‘check my delivery costs’. Enter your postcode and you will be provided the total delivery cost for the items in your cart. You can always refresh your cart by adding/removing products to see how this affects the delivery costs. For most of the UK standard delivery services are now free as they are incorporated into our prices. However, there are certain areas that are much more expensive to ship to and for these there may be a surcharge which you will see at this stage. For a list of postcodes that invoke a surcharge, please see below under the relevant carriers. There are also delivery upgrades available in some cases, for express, AM or weekend delivery options.

  • We always provide full tracking information where available as soon as your items leave our depot (MyHermes and DPD).
  • As a guide we have below demonstrated roughly how we decide who will be delivering your order from us. We use 3 different delivery options to ensure we can offer the best delivery price and service to our customers.

For small or single items that aren’t needed in a hurry we use My Hermes.

This is a tracked service and we will always send you your full tracking information once we are ready to ship your order.

All My Hermes deliveries are free and included within our prices, no surcharges will apply.

Transit Time: 3-5 working days

With DPD you will be notified by us the day your items ship, this will include full tracking information - you should also recieve notifcation directly from DPD with your estimated delivery date. You will then recieve another text/email from DPD with your 1 hour window for the day of delivery. You have the option to change the date with DPD directly by replying to their text/email notifications. Parcels must be signed for unless you request your parcel to be left in a safe place with DPD. We aren't able to provide these instructions on your behalf but if you have any difficulty you can contact DPD by phone on 08450 702477. Please note once your items leave our depot we cannot take responsibility for any courier issues although we will always help wherever we can. The best way to ensure a smooth delivery is to keep an eye on the full tracking information we will have provided you and get in touch with DPD as soon as an issue arises. DPD have recieved awards for their services within the UK which is why we trust them with the parcels for our customers. You can see more awards they have achieved here

For everything in the middle that does not require a pallet for delivery we use DPD. Voted best courier in the UK by independent Which?*.

Please note: free delivery is an option for most of the UK, however, surcharges may apply in the following areas which are generally highlands/islands:

BT, FK17-19, G83, GY, HS, IV, IM, JE, KA,27-28, KW, PA20+, PH15+, PO30+, TR21+, ZE1-3

Transit Time: 1-2 working days

For larger quantities that are sent on a pallet network we will contact you via email to advise you of the delivery procedure, which will be a kerbside service. You will be able to advise of your preferred delivery date when the haulier calls you as you will need to be in to sign for your delivery and hauliers will only attempt delivery once, any re-delivery will incur additional charges. If you are in an area which has restricted access therefore requires timed delivery please notify us prior to placing your order so we can advise you of the charges for this service. These charges will apply to 'free delivery' listings as well. We are only made aware of these charges once your pallet is recieved by the local pallet delivery depot, if you decide not to pay these charges and not accept your items you will still be charged the original delivery costs.

For anything that requires a pallet for delivery we use the haulier Palletways. Delivery takes place within the hours of 9am and 5pm. The haulier is unable to provide ETA's, delivery can take place at any point between the hours of 9 and 5pm. If you would like to request a call from the driver when they are en route to your delivery please advise us when ordering.

These costs are more variable as their charges are by postcode, for an accurate price please use the ‘check my delivery costs’ within your cart. Standard delivery is free for most of the UK as we have incorporated into out prices, however, certain places are far more expensive to ship to and these may incur a surcharge. For the most part these areas are highlands/islands but there are others. A full list of postcodes that may incurr a surcharge are as follows:

AB, BT, DD, CA, DG, DT, DL, E, EH, EX, FK, G, GY, HS, JE, IE, IM, IV, KA, KY, KW, LD, LL, ML, NE, PA, PH, PL, PO, SA, SE, SY, TA, TD, TQ, TR, ZE

(Not all areas within these postcodes will incurr a surcharge - ‘check my delivery costs’ will always give you an accurate postage charge if any does apply.)

Transit Time: 3-5 working days (you will be contacted by the haulier to advise of your preferred weekday delivery date) OR next working day express service

If there is anything wrong with your delivery or your crate arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, you must inform us within 24 hours to enable us to log your problem with our courier and to deal with it as expediently as possible.
