Genuine Wooden Fruit Tray (original farm names and dates from the 1950's or 1960's)

We have a small selection of our original wooden fruit trays that were produced in the 1950's and 1960's some with metal tabs on the corners, they have various dates on them mostly from within the 60's. They are in great condition condsidering their age, some having faded lettering but otherwise 100% useable. They are much darker wood having been more weathered, truly in keeping with the rustic look.

A lot of people purchasing these are using them for storage on top of the fridge, as they are the same dimensions they can be stacked to store jam jars, alternatively they look great in the garden, filled with seasonal flowers.

The dimensions of the vintage fruit trays are 43cm x 54cm x 11.5cm and the height to the top of the corner posts is 15cm.

You will receive a tray that looks like one of the 2 trays pictured. These do vary slightly with how they are secured.

Please note: this item is over 50 years old therefore some of the trays will differ from each other due to more/less weathering. If you are unsure of the condition please call us. Due to their age these trays do all have traces of old woodworm. These looks like small pin pricks in and around the tray.
